Licensing/Cost FAQ’s
How does the licensing of your system work?
Apollo grants a license use of the TrueCollect™ system to primary creditors, collection agencies and legal recovery firms (“Service Provider Licensee” or “SPL”) through a Service Provider Hosting Agreement.
top
What is the Service Provider Hosting Agreement?
The Service Provider Hosting Agreement is the agreement which allows the SPL to use the TrueCollect™ system. The TrueCollect™ system is used to present settlement and payment options to its debtors. Under the terms of the Service Provider Hosting Agreement, the SPL maintains full control and ownership of all data, transactions and settlement terms.
top
What is Decisioning Intelligence?
Our philosophy is to allow the SPL to present the debtor with a set of offers that best fits the debtor’s ability to pay. The TrueCollect™ system pulls a credit report, parses the report, merges it with current account data and runs it against multiple settlement rules to determine the optimal settlement offers for each debtor. Different debtors get different offers.
top
When is a debtor’s credit report pulled?
The TrueCollect™ pulls a credit report on behalf of the SPL from the bureau selected by the SPL. When the debtor logs in to settle their debt, the debtor’s credit report is pulled in real-time for use in Decisioning Intelligence.
top
Does the debtor’s credit report get pulled every time they log in?
It depends. If the SPL sets the credit report age to zero, then a new credit report will be pulled every time the TrueCollect™ uses Decisioning Intelligence to create a set of settlement offer to the debtor. If the SPL sets the report age to 30, then the TrueCollect™ will check to see if a current credit report has already been pulled in the last 30 days: if a current report has already been pulled, then the TrueCollect™ will use the existing report and the SPL will not be charged for an additional report.
top
Who pays for the credit report?
The SPL or Service Provider Licensee pays for the credit report. The credit report is retrieved and parsed by the TrueCollect™ using the processing codes of the creditor or collector. Apollo is and is processed via a third party agreement between Apollo, the bureau and the client.
top
Can I terminate my agreement at any time?
Because we provide you with exceptional value and are waiving all setup, licensing and maintenance fees, we currently require at least a one year commitment. You may elect to extend the waiving of licensing and maintenance fees by committing to a multi-year agreement.
top
Do you offer any “Custom” or “Enhanced” services for managing my data or marketing campaigns?
Yes. Apollo’s professional services team is here to assist you with developing your campaigns to contact your debtors, letter writing, email services and data optimization campaigns. Our system is designed to give the client the ultimate control and flexibility, and we are happy to provide our expertise to further optimize your collection efforts.
